Paulding County has made some changes to its Sign Ordinance. This is the first major change to the ordinance in twelve years. The County completed a comprehensive study of signage in surrounding counties, cities and states, as well in our own back yard of Paulding County to develop the new rules.
One of the major changes is the consolidation of sign regulations to one location, as opposed to the rules being scattered throughout the Zoning Ordinance. Now, if you have any questions or need to find the correct regulation for your sign, you only need to go to the Sign Ordinance.

This new rule change will be enforced by the Planning and Zoning Division and Marshal’s Bureau. There are other changes as well, so go to the website to be sure your sign is in compliance with Paulding County rules.
