Recently Signs & More, Inc displayed our design work and signs at the Whole Hawg Happenin in Marietta, GA. This was a large barbeque that benefitted the Metro Atlanta Area Boy’s and Girl’s Club of America. There were many food vendors on display with some incredibly delicious meals. There were also many assorted businesses as well, from home services to handcrafted goods to jewelry to nice smelling soap.

As I walked around and visited with many of the vendors, one thing stood out at me as a signmaker. We are in the business of getting businesses noticed. One of the main reasons for getting a sign is to stand out from the crowd. Many of the booths looked very similar. The tents were not printed. The signs that were on display were, many times, nothing more than a 12” x 18” poster board. And many only had plain tablecloths over the wooden tables that were provided or brought by the vendor.
I understand that many of the vendors are home based businesses or weekend craft dealers that make the craft show circuit. And cost of advertising is very limited. But shouldn’t they still be concerned to get noticed as much as possible? After all, the reason to be at the show is to be seen and to sell their product.
Here are a few ways to stand out in a crowd of vendors.
These are but a few suggestions to enhance the look of your display area. Let Signs & More (770-383-8808) work with you to make your booth stand out to get your name and products Exposed!
