“Show me the proof”, words you may hear in the court room every day. These are the same words you should be asking of your sign company anytime you request signage for your business.
Have you ever asked for the look of the sign before allowing the work to proceed? You should. Whether the sign is a banner or an overhead set of channel letters, you should be allowed to see the finished product on paper before proceeding to the actual creation of the signage. This proof does four things:
- You get to see exactly what you want or you can make the necessary changes before it is too late.
- You are assured that you and the sign design team are on the same page as to the look and colors of the sign.
- You get to see the exact finished product to size and applied to its proper location.
- The proof works as a contract between you and the sign company so no one is surprised by the finished product.

Recently I had a sign placed on a pylon that already had other signs installed. We sent the proof and got the OK to proceed. After the installation, the customer informed us they wanted the sign to replace an already installed sign at another location on the pylon. Unfortunately for the customer we were not able to make this change due to the construction of the pylon itself. Had the customer addressed this concern when getting the proof, we could have given the situation a closer look and explained why we could not honor their request.
At Signs & More, Inc. (770-383-8808), we provide proofs of all our signs, banners and vehicle graphics before proceeding so the design department and the customer can review the work and make the proper changes to insure the design, color and location are just what the customer wants. We invite you to visit our showroom and design department to sit down with our designers to create your perfect look. If you cannot join us, we will come to you through the internet so we may “Show you the Proof” of what you desire.
