In the sign business there is usually very little said about a warranty or guarantee of materials or labor and workmanship. This is not necessarily the fault of either the sign company or the customer. I have almost never been asked to provide either a guarantee or warranty for my product. Yet Signs & More, Inc. will stand behind both our labor and materials to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
Is there a difference between a warranty and a guarantee? Let’s consult Webster and see what the dictionary says of each.
Warranty: A usually written guarantee of the integrity of a product and of the maker’s responsibility for the repair of replacement of defective parts.
Guarantee: To assert confidently.
So, a warranty is a legal written document to fall back on to get satisfaction of the defective product, where as a guaranty is an understanding of the initial quality of the product.
Sign made with Wrong Materials - 2 Years Old (Not made by Signs & More)
At Signs & More we offer a guaranty of all the products we provide since we only handle the best the industry has to offer. We do not want any of our work to do anything we would not be proud of years to come. Recently we have been called on two separate jobs where another sign company provided signage that looked many years old, whereas both customer companies had the signs for less than two years. This was a result of poor quality materials and poor material recommendations that could not withstand the elements.
Poorly Applied Wrap (Peeling) - NOT DONE BY SIGNS & MORE
Using the best materials and putting the correct material into the proper application guarantees Signs & More is always able to design, manufacture and install the best quality signage in the industry. (See our Guarantee at the bottom of each page of our website.) And we will be proud of our signs as we drive by or walk in to our customers’ businesses for years to come.
